About The Position

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train the right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for: * Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards * Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities * Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition. Shift auto and manual steps * Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's * Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards * Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times * Canning * Operating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift * Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data * Completing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures * Helping with repacks

Requirements

• Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired
• Have 3 months of work related experience
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
• Have attention to detail
• Be reliable to work assigned shift
• Be flexible to work overtime as required
• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
• Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams
• Have good attendance and punctuality
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience, but we can train you
• Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
• Previous experience within the Ink Industry
