About The Position

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for: Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards, Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities, Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition. Shift auto and manual steps, Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's, Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards, Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times, Canning, Operating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift, Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data, Completing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures, Helping with repacks.

Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired
  • Have 3 months of work related experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
  • Have attention to detail
  • Be reliable to work assigned shift
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams
  • Have good attendance and punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry

Responsibilities
