Batch Plant Operator
About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate and monitor batch plant equipment to ensure accurate and timely production Adjust controls to maintain product quality and meet specifications Perform routine inspections, housekeeping, and basic maintenance on plant systems Communicate with drivers and team members to support efficient workflow Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation
- Ability to work independently and make sound, safety-focused decisions
- Comfort working in fast-paced and variable outdoor environments
- Reliable communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to following operational and safety protocols
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
