Batch Plant Operator
About The Position
Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Concrete Batch Plant Operator for the Miami Signature Bridge in Miami, FL. The Concrete Batch Plant Operator will operate and tend to machines that mix/blend materials such as concrete, cement, and aggregate for use at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures. Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 Years Operating Experience Preferred
- Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds / ladders
Responsibilities
- Weighs and measures materials and ingredients to be used for final product ensuring overall quality of the product
- Operates primary machinery and additional equipment for production such as pumps and conveyor belts and unloads materials
- May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment
- May perform other related duties as required
