About The Position

Lindsay Precast, LLC is seeking a dedicated individual to operate a front end loader to load aggregate bins for the efficient operation of a concrete batch plant. The role involves assisting in the operation of mixer machines and the batch plant, notifying supervisors of any non-conforming products or issues with machines and materials, and communicating production issues with other employees and supervisors. The operator will read job specifications to determine necessary machine adjustments and material requirements, review products for inconsistencies, and perform routine machine maintenance. A basic understanding of electronics, programmable controllers, hydraulics, and electricity is essential. The operator will also assist other operators in setting up machines and completing tasks to meet deadlines. Safety is a priority, and the operator must understand and apply safe equipment use while communicating safety-related matters with colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to six months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Concrete Fundamentals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Nice To Haves

• ACI Field Testing Certified (not required, but capable of achieving within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Operates front end loader to load aggregate bins for efficient operation of concrete batch plant.
• Assists and operates mixer machine and batch plant.
• Notifies supervisor of non-conforming product or problems with machine, materials, etc.
• Communicates production issues with other employees and supervisors.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Reviews product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Performs routine machine maintenance.
• Understands and applies safe use and operation of the equipment.
