About The Position

Team member is responsible for mixing batches using proper procedures for raw materials, sanitizing and batch processing. Has the ability to understand formulations to create product and work with batching equipment. Responsible for general housekeeping in the mix area according to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Degree or equivalent
• College Course Work desired
• 1 to 3 years of Manufacturing Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. consistently

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products in accordance with written procedures
• Handle 55 gallon drums
• Be computer literate and understand pounds, grams, millimeters, etc.
• Stay on task and be flexible to workload increases/decreases
• Work and communicate well within the team and with other departments
• Rotate stock using F,I,F,O system
• Maintain housekeeping in the mix area, which is a wet zone
• Measure for accurate readings in tanks/totes
• Work with lab and truck drivers to fill raw material storage tanks
• Pump product from mix tanks to holding tanks throughout the plant
• Transfer lines free of product by rinsing lines
• Coordinate with filling to help eliminate production down time
• Clean up and dispose of spills using the P,P,E
• Work with lab on sanitizing holding tanks, totes, and mix tanks
• Mix raw materials using formulas to create product
• Work with maintenance and learn to perform preventive maintenance on the machines used
