About The Position
The Batch associate Saw ensures timely and accurate cutting of parts per Alum-a-Lift’s specifications and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Cuts parts to prepare for machining per provided schedule to meet or exceed customer’s expectations.
- Trains to be able to utilize various tools and equipment to cut parts of varying difficulty.
- Communicates to supervisor when assemblies are incomplete, need rework, or any other issue that comes up that affect producing the lift for on time delivery.
- Uses computer and manufacturing software program to issue materials, report completed routers and view upcoming shipments.
- Work in the department as a team member to produce products per manufacturing specifications to achieve or exceed the production, quality standards and goals.
- Move and handle materials as necessary.
- Perform routine cleaning to include sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down equipment, and participating in rotating schedule for cleaning bathrooms and break area.
- Perform any other assignment requested by Lead, supervisor or production manager.
- In this role you are required to act accordingly to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission and routines.
