About the position

The Basketball Statistician role at Performance Analytica involves working as an independent contractor to provide performance statistics during major basketball events. Candidates should have a strong understanding of basketball statistics and be comfortable using iOS software for stat keeping. The position is part-time and contract-based, with training provided for the specific software used by the company.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software and methods to provide performance statistics during basketball events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of traditional box score statistics for basketball.
• Complete training in the stat keeping process and use the software to stat a game from video.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of basketball statistics and box score production.
• Experience in keeping basketball stats, preferably at the Varsity or Pro level.
• Comfortable using iPads and internet-connected iOS devices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Statscrew software or similar stat keeping tools.
