About The Position

Eyecan Athletics is looking for a passionate and skilled Basketball Skills Trainer to design and deliver personalized training programs for players of all ages and skill levels. The role emphasizes fostering sportsmanship, work ethic, and confidence in players through dedicated mentorship and expert guidance in basketball techniques.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in basketball training or coaching
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with players of all ages and skill levels
• Physical stamina to demonstrate drills and exercises
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• College or professional basketball experience
• Certification in sports training or coaching (e.g., USA Basketball, NCAA)
• Experience with video analysis software and other training technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver customized training sessions for individuals and small groups.
• Conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement and create personalized training plans.
• Develop and implement drills to enhance shooting, ball handling, footwork, and other essential skills.
• Provide expert guidance on game-like scenarios, defensive strategies, and court awareness.
• Foster a positive and supportive training environment.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and coaches.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest training methods and technologies.
• Attend and participate in all trainings/Basketball operations as scheduled.
