About The Position

The Advanced Math and Science Academy is seeking a qualified individual for the position of JV Girls Basketball Coach. This part-time, seasonal role involves leading the school's Girls' Basketball program, focusing on practice planning, athlete development, and coaching student-athletes in both middle and high school. The coach will work closely with the Athletic Department to uphold the school's mission in athletics.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Bachelor's degree
• Significant playing and coaching experience
• Previous middle/high school coaching experience preferred
• Ability to commit to the necessary time for running a high school program

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with high school students
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Lead the JV Girls Basketball program during the winter season.
• Plan and conduct basketball practices for student-athletes.
• Oversee and instruct athletes during practices and games.
• Assist with the varsity basketball team as needed.
• Help efficiently manage the entire basketball program.
• Support the Athletic Department in promoting the AMSA Mission Statement in athletics.
