About The Position
Simsbury Public Schools is accepting applications for a Basic Skills Tutor - Literacy to work 12 hours per week at Central Elementary School, Grades K-6, commencing asap. Has knowledge of and can implement literacy strategies including phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension support for K - 6 grade students. Creates a positive, encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and motivation in reading Collaborates with Language Arts Consultant and classroom teachers to align lessons and share progress Plans and maintains organized documentation of lesson plans and student data.
