Candidates can be considered for any status (full time, part time, registry, team builder) and any location (Madison, Dyer, Benton, Chester). Responsible for basic emergency medical care in the transportation and treatment of sick and injured patients. Under the general supervision of the Director and the direct supervision of the Shift Manager, the Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for emergency care of patients transported on assigned shifts, with flexible schedules. Completion of a certification course of study to allow applicant to sit for EMT certification exam for the State of Tennessee required. Current Class D Tennessee Driver’s License. Current Basic Life Support card from American Heart Association or equivalent. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital, the department director, or the shift supervisor. Employee is subject to random drug screening.
