Baseband Developer (Entry Level)

About the position

Ericsson is seeking an experienced rAPP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, cloud-based microservices with Java Spring Boot, Python, and JavaScript, along with hands-on experience in network management. This role involves working on cutting-edge applications that optimize network performance and efficiency, integrating with various systems such as Kafka message bus, Docker, and Helm Charts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native rAPP solutions using Java Spring Boot, Python, and JavaScript
• Build and maintain microservices that are robust, scalable, and aligned with network optimization use cases
• Integrate and manage event streaming using Kafka message bus for real-time data processing
• Utilize Docker for containerization and Helm Charts for orchestration and deployment of microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that support network management and automation
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java Spring Boot, Python development
• Proficiency in JavaScript and front-end technologies
• Solid understanding of cloud microservices architecture and design principles
• Exposure to network management (OSS/BSS) and network automation
• Familiarity with Kafka or similar message bus technologies for real-time data processing
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Proficiency in managing deployments with Helm Charts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to Ericsson network management systems is highly desirable
• Knowledge of 5G, rApps is an added advantage
• Experience working with open-source projects and contributing to the community
