About The Position

The Baseball Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing retail store. This role involves assisting fans in selecting merchandise, handling sales transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience during baseball games and events.

Requirements

Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the baseball season schedule

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding merchandise
Provide product knowledge and recommendations to enhance the customer’s shopping experience
Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle transactions accurately
Stock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure merchandise is presented attractively
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
Assist with pricing, tagging, and organizing merchandise
Handle exchanges and returns in accordance with store policies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Uphold company policies and ensure security of cash and merchandise
Assist with closing and opening procedures as needed
