About The Position

Westlake High School is seeking three Assistant Baseball Coaches: Head JV Coach, Assistant JV Coach, and Assistant Freshman Coach. These positions require individuals who possess excellent organizational, communication, relational, teaching, and coaching skills, along with a strong knowledge of the sport. We are looking for passionate coaches who will bring energy to the program and serve as role models for our student athletes and the community. The ideal candidates will focus on developing positive relationships with students and fostering a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Teaching and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of baseball.

• Previous coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Head JV Coach, Assistant JV Coach, or Assistant Freshman Coach as assigned.
• Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.
• Foster positive relationships with student athletes and the community.
• Act as a role model on and off the field.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff.
