Key Responsibilities: The Electrician should have a detailed solid understanding and ability to install, repair, test and adjust electrical machinery and equipment and its associated test equipment according to the NEC and OSHA standards, including: Strong working knowledge in industrial solid-state circuitry which includes power type transistors diodes, general AC and DC motor generator circuits, various transformer types and general repair of all building electrical equipment. Electricians must be able to work around the clock shifts, including weekends and holidays, in the outdoors in all weather conditions. Schedules are bid and awarded based on seniority. Electricians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT). Salary increases will be administered according to the current IBT/United contract.
