About The Position

The Base Maintenance Group Supervisor I at Tenaris is responsible for developing and supervising the execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan. This role focuses on optimizing equipment reliability and maintainability, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and supporting engineering efforts in equipment assessment and startup. The supervisor will also manage HR-related activities and motivate staff to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

• Experience with maintenance on mobile equipment or heavy diesel machines.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan.
• Optimize reliability and maintainability of equipment by defining maintenance strategies.
• Ensure systematic failure, problem, and performance analysis on equipment.
• Provide technical support to emergency crews and staff areas.
• Interact with internal and external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
• Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards.
• Motivate, coach, and develop staff while managing HR-related activities.
• Protect facilities, equipment, and physical resources from damage or misuse.
• Perform and oversee inspections in the area of responsibility.
• Guarantee technical resource availability and maintain suitable stock levels.
• Support the Engineering area in equipment research and startup.
• Draw up the maintenance cost budget and keep costs within limits.
• Ensure application of health, safety, and environment standards and practices.
• Report incidents, perform inspections, and participate in investigations.
• Implement preventive and corrective actions based on risk analysis.
• Participate in the development of maintenance information systems.
• Analyze and use information to support decision-making processes.
• Participate in maintenance programs to optimize energy use.
