Requirements

  • 2+ years' work experience in the building automation, mechanical industry or relevant work experience
  • Knowledge in building automation systems
  • Experience working with LON, BACnet and Modbus Communications
  • Knowledgeable with sequence of operations for boilers, chillers, air-handling units, electrical equipment, motors, and other HVAC equipment
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Distech, Siemens, Andover, Delta, or Schneider
  • In addition, must have solid organizational and communication skills along with strong demonstration and presentation capabilities. Good computer skills with Microsoft

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC Controls at customer facilities
  • Service and preventative maintenance on assigned customer contracts
  • Inform management and customer(s) of job progress and issues
  • Research and learn various controls systems as instructed
  • Occasionally working with third-party contractors to accomplish a common goal
  • Adhere to all active company safety policies
  • Complete timecards and trip reports in a timely manner utilizing company software
  • Other duties as assigned
