Description of Duties and Tasks In this role, the Service Technician will coordinate all field activity for small service projects. These projects will include field programming, system start-up, documentation, system integration, and client training. These tasks/projects will span across multiple misc. brands of controls with a concentration on Distech.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC Controls at customer facilities
  • Service and preventative maintenance on assigned customer contracts
  • Inform management and customer(s) of job progress and issues
  • Research and learn various controls systems as instructed
  • Occasionally working with third-party contractors to accomplish a common goal
  • Adhere to all active company safety policies
  • Complete timecards and trip reports in a timely manner utilizing company software
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 2+ years’ work experience in the Commercial HVAC Service Industry.
  • Knowledgeable in major industry equipment, including York, Carrier, Engineered Air, TRANE, and extensive knowledge of building automation systems.
  • Experience working with boilers, chillers, air-handling units, electrical equipment, motors, and other HVAC equipment. Experience with Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Distech, Siemens, Andover, Delta, or Schneider.
  • In addition, must have solid organization and communication skills along with strong demonstration and presentation capabilities. Good computer skills with Microsoft
