BAS Project Engineer – Hybrid
About The Position

The team is seeking a dedicated BAS Project Engineer to assist withthe design, programming, and successful delivery of advanced building automation systems used across commercial and mission-critical environments. With more than 300 professionals across multiple regional offices , this organization offers a collaborative, growth-orientedworkplace with a flexible hybrid model — working 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely each week.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Building Automation and/or HVAC control systems
- Proficiency with DDC, PLC, or similar programming environments
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or related engineering tools
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
Responsibilities
- Design and program DDC/BAS control systems supporting HVAC and energy management applications
- Develop sequences of operation, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for project implementation
- Review vendor submittals and verify engineered bills of material for accuracy
- Prepare installation packages, submittal documentation, and final as-built drawings
- Assist with commissioning, graphics development, and end-user system training
- Provide technical leadership to internal project teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
- Manage multiple active projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality requirements are met
