Position Details Title: BAS Controls Technician Location: Miami, Florida Hiring: Mid-Level & Senior-Level Technicians Pay: $25.00 – $40.00/hour (experience-based) Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (varies by role/territory)
Requirements
- Hands-on experience as a BAS Controls Technician or similar technical role
- Strong background in DDC hardware, low-voltage wiring, and device commissioning
- Solid understanding of HVAC equipment such as RTUs, chillers, boilers, AHUs, and VAVs
- Familiar with BAS communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout South Florida
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, calibrate, and troubleshoot BAS sensors, controllers, relays, panels, and field devices
- Perform functional testing, point-to-point verification, and device validation
- Assist with BAS integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks protocols
- Work closely with project managers and programmers to support commissioning and closeout efforts
- Deliver professional on-site technical support and customer service
- Document work completed, test results, and system configuration updates
