About The Position
An established HVAC, Controls, and Data Center Solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled BAS Controls Technician for a full-time, stationary data center assignment in Lithia Springs, GA. This is an on-site role supporting a mission-critical facility with minimal travel unless local workload shifts. Requirements
- Hands-on experience with building automation or DDC control systems
- Strong commissioning, troubleshooting, and field service skills
- Familiarity with Tridium/Niagara and protocol integration preferred
- Effective communicator comfortable in technical, fast-paced environments
Responsibilities
- Commission and troubleshoot Tridium/Niagara controllers and update sequences of operation
- Service and support both proprietary and open BAS/BMS platforms
- Perform point-to-point device checkout and full system verification
- Integrate systems using Modbus, BACnet, and TCP/IP protocols
- Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and low-voltage control hardware
- Build, wire, and test control panels and field-mounted components
- Terminate, label, and organize low-voltage cabling
- Calibrate sensors, actuators, and field devices to ensure accuracy
- Document daily commissioning steps and log all test results
