A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a BAS Controls Construction Manager in Ashburn, VA.This role will manage BAS construction, integration, and retrofit initiatives across mission-critical and commercial facilities. Requirements

Previous experience overseeing BAS-related construction or integration projects.
Strong technical knowledge of automation, control systems, and HVAC infrastructure.
Effective leadership skills and the ability to manage subcontractors and internal teams.
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice To Haves

Background working in mission-critical or data center environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Guide and oversee BAS retrofit, integration, and construction projects within mission-critical environments.
Manage budgets, schedules, contractor performance, and project execution.
Promote safe construction practices and ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations.
Supervise building automation, HVAC, and facility system upgrade initiatives.
Review plans, schematics, control diagrams, and technical construction documents.
Coordinate project activities with engineers, vendors, clients, and key stakeholders.
Diagnose and resolve field issues, providing solutions to construction challenges.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
