About The Position
Forest Ridge Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of part-time Bartender. In this role, qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our members and their guests. The Bartender will be responsible for stocking the bar, mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, and assisting in cost control and inventory management. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and compliance with state liquor laws. The Bartender will maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. It is essential to communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed. The role also involves performing opening and closing duties, which include inventory management, cash control, cleaning, and restocking. The Bartender will be accountable for checks and cash transactions and will utilize the Point of Sales System effectively. Additionally, the Bartender will review the banquet schedule for changes, the calendar of events, and special events, ensuring that all catered parties are served from service or portable bars. Occasionally, the Bartender may also serve meals to guests. Incorporating safe work practices in job performance is crucial, and the Bartender will perform other duties as required to ensure a smooth operation of the bar.
