Bartender

As a Bartender at AMC Theatres, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior service to our guests while supporting the overall goals of AMC. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve bar items that are fresh, appetizing, and properly prepared, all while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that they receive excellent service throughout their visit. In this role, you will possess full knowledge of bar and menu items, allowing you to make informed recommendations to guests. You will accurately take beverage orders and deliver them within established time frames, which may also include food items at dine-in locations. It is essential to prepare beverages consistently, adhering to the procedures and ingredients outlined in recipes, and to pour beer and wine to specific portions. You will also utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience. Compliance with state, local, and company guidelines regarding the responsible service of alcohol is paramount. You will verify the age of all guests purchasing alcohol, ensuring that sales are limited to those who are at least 21 years of age. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels for the bar, ensuring cleanliness in the bar and lounge area, and completing all assigned tasks prior to the end of your shift. Working effectively with supervisors and co-workers is essential, as is following instructions for the safe use of all chemicals and cleaning materials. This position requires the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, while upholding AMC's business practice standards and compliance with company policies.
