About The Position

Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar

Requirements

• Superior communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to get along with a broad customer base.
• Experience in high-volume food and beverage service.
• Valid ABC card.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly, in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Take orders from customers or bar waiter/waitress.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Collects payment for products served.
• Orders or requisitions product as needed.
• Arranges product displays for visual appearance and appeal.
• Prepares fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Assist customers with their selection of product.
• Provide prompt and accurate service at cash register.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving and seating areas.
• Ensure merchandise displays are stocked, clean, dust free, and appealing to customers.
• Accept cash or credit card payments for product purchases.
• Keep cash register accurate.
• Ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
• Handle transactions quickly, courteously and accurately.
• Point out any sales, specials to customers.
• Coordinate or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports, etc.).
• Assist with set-up, organization, and staging of special events.
• Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity.
• Model superior customer service behavior for all interactions with customers and employees.
• Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
• Complete all training programs appropriate to your position as recommended or assigned by the manager.
• Accept and follow direct instructions and work well with others.
