About The Position

The Bartender at Villa Roma Resort is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of mixology and guest satisfaction. The role demands both technical expertise and interpersonal skills to create an outstanding bar experience for guests.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid alcohol service certification
• Strong mathematical abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina for extended standing
• Cash handling experience

• Previous bartending experience: 1 year
• Knowledge of wine and spirits
• Experience with POS systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Create specialty cocktails according to recipes
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption
• Process drink orders from servers
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area
• Stock and organize bar supplies
• Handle guest payments accurately
• Monitor inventory levels
• Maintain proper storage of beverages
• Track par levels of liquor and supplies
• Assist with weekly inventory counts
• Ensure proper rotation of products
• Monitor product quality and freshness
• Report inventory needs to management
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Maintain accurate cash handling
• Process credit card transactions
• Prepare daily sales reports
• Document any incidents or concerns
• Participate in staff meetings
• Follow all ABC regulations
• Check identification for age verification
• Monitor guest consumption levels
• Maintain professional interaction with guests
• Handle difficult situations diplomatically
• Ensure responsible alcohol service
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Report safety concerns promptly
