About The Position

Dazed! Our new consumption lounge is seeking a part-time bartender Summary The Lounge bartender plays a key role in enhancing the guest experience within the consumption lounge. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing exceptional guest service at the bar top, preparing and serving craft cannabis-infused and standard cocktails, and supporting the service well for floor servers, greeting guests, evaluating tolerance levels, assessing sobriety, recommending cannabis products, offering cannabis education, serving cannabis products, managing table-related tasks (seating/serving/bussing), completing sales transactions, and handling guest payments. It is crucial to adhere to all state compliance standards, such as providing relevant product labels, communicating order and table totals to customers, and ensuring excellent customer service in all guest interactions.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year bartending or barback experience (cannabis lounge or craft cocktail experience preferred).
Knowledge of mixology, cannabis-infused products, and compliance protocols.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be at least 21 years old and hold any required state cannabis permits or certifications.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Must possess a Nevada Consumption Agent work card and be 21 years of age or older.
Must possess a Nevada Food Handler Safety Card.
OSHA 10 certification required within 6 months of start date.

Nice To Haves

cannabis lounge or craft cocktail experience preferred
Possession of ServSafe Food Safety Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and compliant service to guests seated at the bar.
Take cannabis and beverage orders directly from guests and accurately process transactions.
Prepare and serve all cocktails, mocktails, and infused drinks to specification.
Support servers by preparing beverages for the service well in a timely manner.
Maintain full compliance with all cannabis regulations, including ID verification, product tracking, and dosage control.
Ensure adherence to health and safety codes, including sanitation and hygiene standards.
Wash, sanitize, and polish all glassware daily.
Stock and organize ice, fruit, garnishes, mixers, and bar tools throughout each shift.
Restock inventory and communicate low stock or product needs to management.
Always maintain a clean and organized bar area, including countertops, sinks, and storage.
Handle cash, debit, and digital payments accurately and responsibly.
Balance cash drawer and reconcile payments at end of shift.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines.
Communicate effectively with team members and assist with opening and closing duties.
Uphold a positive and professional lounge atmosphere.
Greeting guests as they are seated in the lounge.
Providing water to all guests who are seated within the lounge.
Evaluate guest cannabis experience levels.
Assess guest sobriety levels.
Educate guests on cannabis, terpenes, cannabis products, lounge offerings, devices, and regulations.
Taking and submitting guest orders via Dutchie.
Carrying multiple cannabis product and cannabis cocktail orders to tables and serving to guests.
Conduct tables touches to uphold customer service standards.
Deliver cannabis products, cannabis cocktails, merchandise, and smoking apparatuses to guests at bar.
Educate guests on proper use of smoking apparatuses.
Stay informed about all menu offerings within the lounge and catering menu.
Maintain accurate data on lounge destruction log.
Building and setting up profiles on Dutchie.
Updating all steps during the process on applicable software program applications.
Creates an exceptional customer service experience with guests through education, knowledge of products and salesmanship.
Address customer questions about the price and use of cannabis products/merchandise during tableside consultations.
Stays up to date knowledge on the endocannabinoid system and all applicable properties and/or effects.
Comply with all state regulations pertaining to medical, retail, and/or lounge sales.
Comply with all cash handling policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, cleanliness of all surfaces within lounge floor and register areas.
Removes and records the amount of cash in register at end of shift.
Reports all issues to management.
Maintain professional appearance, and adhere to all company policies regarding dress code, personal hygiene, and appearance.
Perform daily opening and/or closing procedures.
Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
