About The Position

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking a talented and personable Bartender for our food and bar service outlets. Our ideal candidate is familiar with a variety of drink recipes and can deliver excellent guest service. You will be responsible for serving patrons at our saloon, pool bar, and dining room. Weekends and holidays are required. This is a tipped position.

Requirements

1+ years bartending experience
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic, adept at multitasking, and a true team player
Ability to lift 50 lbs at a time on a regular basis and work on your feet throughout your shift
A flexible schedule with weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality service to each guest while maintaining a clean bar area in accordance with the resort’s guidelines and sanitation standards
Mix all drinks based on serving sizes as trained
Maintain an efficient work pace to ensure guests are satisfied at the saloon and dining room at all times
Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout your shift
Perform alcohol inventories at the end of each shift to maintain proper inventory
