About The Position

Come work and play on Fort Lauderdale Beach! O2K Lounge, located inside Pelican Grand Beach Resort, is seeking a full time Bartender that is looking to work in a fun environment on the beach. Requirements

Minimum 2+ years bartender experience required in a high volume, fast environment.
Excellent engagement and English communication skills.
Proven team collaborator.
Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to stay calm in a fast paced and sometimes stressful situations with guest
Flexibility to work hours that may change based on the season or business needs
Ability to learn new recipes and techniques
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)

Responsibilities

Set up bar in compliance with policies, procedures and brand standards.
Prepare and serve drinks following policies and procedures, proper food handling and serving techniques, alcohol awareness, and federal, state and local regulations.
Processes guest checks and payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card and room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures.
Maintain clean bar including proper removal of trash, empty glasses, etc.
Thoroughly clean bar and properly return equipment and supplies to proper areas at end of shift.
Ensure all liquor is properly secured before, during and after shift.
Perform assigned side-work.
