Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena is looking for a full‑time bartender to join the team at First Point, our on‑site restaurant featuring classic American cuisine and a full‑service bar. With a curated selection of local craft brews, wine, and specialty cocktails, First Point is a favorite gathering spot for hotel guests. Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- TIPS certification or alcohol safety certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous bartending experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Proficient in the appropriate service of beverages, liquor, and wine
- Prepare and present food to meet guests' expectations
- Create cocktails following standard beverage recipes, consistently using a jigger
- Verify all forms of identification
- Understand proper guest handling procedures, including in-house guest lists, credit card processes, house charges, and cash transactions
- Responsible for conducting daily and monthly inventories
- Collect bar bank and guest checks from designated areas
- Ensure the restaurant is clean and organized: wash, dry, and store all dishes; sweep and mop floors; vacuum rugs; clean countertops; empty trash; and tidy cupboards and drawers
- Check all drink orders for accuracy in pricing
