About The Position

The Bartender role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures compliance with all safety, sanitation, and service regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work area. They play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by providing friendly, efficient service and supporting team operations.

  • Guest Service – Strong interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and positive guest experience.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in food and beverage preparation, POS transactions, and compliance with standards.
  • Time Management – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem-Solving – Ability to resolve guest concerns and operational issues quickly and professionally.
  • Compliance Awareness – Understanding alcohol laws, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Adaptability – Ability to adjust to changing guest needs and operational demands.
  • Reliability & Dependability – Consistently punctual, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining standards.
  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • Work in varied weather conditions.
  • Required to obtain and maintain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) server/seller certification.
  • Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.
  • Must be willing to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Black slip- resistant shoes required

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar assigned, including equipment and glassware.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and comply with all Texas alcohol service laws.
  • Monitor guest behavior and consumption to ensure responsible service.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed throughout shifts.
  • Handle transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
  • Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and company procedures at all times.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the bar assigned.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
