Plus, a few generous raffles thrown in for good measure. Role Description Our Bartenders interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the resort. Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. This is a part time seasonal role available from mid-May through September. Shifts are available daily from 10:00am - 6:00pm (pool bartender), 8:00am - 3:30pm (resturant) or 4:00pm - 10:00pm (restaurant). Bartenders earn $15.00/hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 year bartending experience required.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
• Ability to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire (cost eligible for reimbursement)
• OLCC Certification

Responsibilities

• Adherence to all OLCC and in house policies with regards to alcohol service to guests.
• Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
• Ability to work in various outlets including restaurants, pools and outdoor events.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
• Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
• Maintain an organized, sanitary and safe working area.
• Provide guidance to guests on resort activities, dining options and general resort and regional information.
• Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
