About The Position

By the Sea Resorts is seeking experienced bartenders for our two beach locations and 3 hotel tiki bars for the upcoming spring and summer season. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. They must be able to work quickly and efficiently, and they must have a knowledge of different types of drinks and how to make them. They must also be able to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in bartending
• Knowledge of different types of drinks and how to make them
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
• Process drink orders for entire restaurant
• Check IDs and ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age
• Maintain a clean and orderly bar area
• Stock and replenish bar supplies
• Adhere to health and safety standards
• Process payments; handle cash and credit card transactions
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
