Bartender | Basin Bar (Part Time)
About The Position
Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a guest-focused part time Bartender to join the opening team of this brand new upscale hotel in the lobby bar. Basin Bar is the perfect place for guests to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or close-out the evening with a selection of local craft beers and expertly crafted cocktails. This team member will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years bartending experience required.
- One-year restaurant experience required.
- Pleasant personality and the ability to relate and connect with guests required.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- State Alcohol certification and Food Handler certification required.
- Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive wine knowledge strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
- Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
- Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
- Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet.
- Monitor inventory.
- Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails
- Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
- Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
