About The Position

As a bartender, you'll mix drinks, take orders, and serve beverages, utilizing your knowledge of drink ingredients to enhance customer experience and increase sales. You'll manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and handle food orders, ensuring a clean and organized bar and dining area throughout your shift. Flexibility is key as you'll work varying schedules, supervised by managers, over seven days per week.

Requirements

  • Numerical Proficiency: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and perform basic operations with American currency, weight, volume, and distance
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze situations and apply logical reasoning to resolve issues effectively. Able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and find practical solutions to challenges
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to organize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Constantly stand, walk, push, pull, lift grasp; Frequently use arms and hands
  • Manual dexterity for using office equipment
  • Clear vision and hearing to communicate effectively
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of relevant experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Roberts Resorts policies, rules, and regulations in the execution of the job
  • Perform ongoing duties as prescribed by Managers
  • Prepare and serve a variety of traditional and creative cocktails to guests
  • Process payments from customers and accurately track bar inventory
  • Enter food orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery
  • Record and track guest receipts, balancing cash receipts and preparing cash deposits
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary bar and dining area, adhering to Arizona Department of Health Services standards
  • Provide personalized suggestions and recommendations based on customer tastes and preferences
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout the shift, ensuring accuracy in tracking orders and payments.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Possess valid Food Handlers and Arizona Liquor Board Certificates prior to beginning duties.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
