About The Position

The Bartender will provide beverage service in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment resulting in increased customer loyalty.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma/GED.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a casino/bar establishment preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must comply with all health codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of casino environment.
• Thorough knowledge of liquor and cocktail service.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have and maintain an Alcohol Compliance or TIPS training.
• Must have previous experience in handling cash.
• Must have the ability to responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of our guests.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Gaming Registration
• Alcohol Certification
• POS equipment and related programs

Responsibilities

• Make and create specialty drinks for guests.
• Function as cashier for beverage outlet and ensure balanced monies.
• Maintain proper set-up of the bar, including maintaining cleanliness of guest areas.
• Maintain exceptional knowledge of bar recipes, preparing cocktails and other drinks including wine and beer.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
