JOB SUMMARY Bartenders create a spirit of excellence and fun and can be key in creating an indulging experience for our guests. They must have a wide breadth of knowledge and ability to recommend items as well as ensure consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines. They also maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service. Our expanded gourmet menu showcases chef-driven selections featuring fresh ingredients, with gluten and vegan-friendly options available, and pairs perfectly with our full-service bar service pouring signature cocktails, imported and craft beers, and hand-selected wine offerings. Guests may expect everything from fresh bottomless butter popcorn, unique starters, our world famous Supremas, and popular favorites like Pretzel Sticks, gluten free pizza, flavorful tacos, sandwiches and gourmet burgers — all served at the push of a button from one’s seat.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1+ years of bartending experience with full bar
• ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications required
• Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management
• Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude
• Great communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues in a positive manner
• Flexible working hours including nights, holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Greet guests who approach all bar area immediately with a smile and warm hospitality, embodying Nice and Amazing Service.
• Demonstrate Passion and Commitment by rapidly and accurately taking food and beverage orders and using selling maximizations for every guest.
• Create a unique and amazing experience for guests by possessing full knowledge of bar and menu items and being able to make recommendations.
• Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements, 21 or order, for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for server orders, patrons of the bar, lobby and lounge following standard recipes.
• Clean as you go including glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and bussing tables.
• Implement alcohol service and safety training, including but not limited to the following: ensuring that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only, not over serving an intoxicated guest, and do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary.
• Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar.
• Keep Bar Supervisor up to date on inventory levels.
• Wash and sanitize all stemware.
• Process all payments correctly and promptly to ensure they have a smooth transition into the theater.
• Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist.
• Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to side work.
• Other duties as assigned.
