About this Location: This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. We are right in the middle of the action! Our hotel is perfectly situated next to the Las Vegas Convention Center and just three miles from Harry Reid International Airport. With the monorail just steps away and world-class entertainment, dining, and shopping minutes from our door, you’ll be working in the heart of all that Las Vegas has to offer. Why do we need you? To mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar, while following standard recipes. What will you do? Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitter to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serves wine and other draught or bottled beer. Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies. Places bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display. May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks. May prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats. Performs in compliance with established company policies and procedures. Performs in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Responsible for compliance with all state and local regulations pertaining to the public operation of the hotel’s bar area, including maximum safe occupancy, emergency exit accessibility, and smoke-free area maintenance. Responsible for knowing and recognizing in-state and out-of-state drivers licenses and state-issued identification cards. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
