About The Position

JBAY LLC, dba Breezy Point Surf Club & Silver Gull Beach Club There is nothing like a day at the beach especially if you happen to work there! JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2026 Summer Season. This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is in May 2026 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2026.

Requirements

• ServSafe or equivalent (TIPS) Certification
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Must have an eye for detail and be committed to keeping the area sanitized and organized
• Must report ALL tips via timeclock as per company policy
• Excellent communication skills: ability to count change and reconcile paperwork
• Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally and understand that the position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and turning.
• Must be able to work entire season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day without any vacation, or time away from work.
• Always maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to ensure an excellent guest experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare drink orders for bar and restaurant
• Accurately and honestly handle cash and credit card transactions including tips and sales reports
• Ensure that alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Stock and re-stock bar items, and inform F & B Manager on needs to replenish inventory as necessary
• Provide timely, courteous and professional service to all guests
• Adhere to the company’s policy regarding reporting all tips.
• Maintain all health and safety standards, including the proper sanitizing of assigned areas.
