About The Position
Ignite your career in the heart of downtown Phoenix at Caesar's Sportsbook Bar and Restaurant! Alongside Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, we’re seeking passionate individuals to join our team. Greet guests promptly in friendly manner Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Prepares and stocks bar areas with all products including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, etc., Maintains stocks, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality Distributes menus and presents the daily specials; answer questions regarding the menu Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensure food and beverages are served in timely manner Check guests at bar for proper identification; adheres to Responsible Alcohol Service policy and alcohol service regulations. Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized. Completes opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks in assigned area and preparation tasks. Prepares guests checks and collect payment; adhere to Levy Payment Integrity Policy. Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning duties, inventory management, and preparation tasks. Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
- Proficient in mixology, with the ability to prepare a variety of classic and custom cocktails; knowledge of drink recipes, garnishes, and alcohol types.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
- This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary.
- Frequently required to use fingers and hands to operate equipment.
- Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry.
- Previous bartender experience preferred.
