About The Position
The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies, and handling cash and credit card transactions. The Bartender will interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on drinks and food items. They will also be responsible for ensuring that customers are of legal drinking age and monitoring their alcohol intake to prevent overconsumption. The Bartender will work closely with other staff members to ensure that all customers receive excellent service and have an enjoyable experience at Barleycorn's.
Requirements
- Bartending experience
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age
- Weekend Availability Required
- Must have Reliable Transportation
- Lifts moderate to heavy weights on an occasional basis
- Any and all certifications where applicable
