About The Position
Whiskey Joe's has shared its unique waterfront dining experience at our various locations in Florida since 1985. We are able to provide a one-of-a-kind beachfront experience with the help of amazing team members like yourself that believe in delivering a 5-star experience to our fellow team members, guests, partners and community. We've recently evolved our menu and plating to provide a polished upscale dining for our guests. As new bartender to our team you will be instrumental in elevating more polished guest experience.The Whiskey Joe's team is a high energy and naturally fast-paced environment. From serving our guests vibrant hand-crafted cocktails at the bar to over-the-top appetizers on the beach; to hosting special events for any celebration in our tiki-bar or event pavilion; to ensuring every day that ends in "Y" is a celebration... We assure you there is a never a dull moment at Whiskey Joe's!
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
- Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a passion for mixology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, including origins, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking inventory and managing supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold Odyssey's reputation for excellence and hospitality.
- Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
