What You Will Bring to This Role: The Bartender provides timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests of the restaurant and hotel.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 21 years old to take drink orders, mix drinks and serve alcohol.
At least one year of bartending experience in a high volume restaurant.
Candidates must be available to work a varied schedule that includes days, weekends, and holidays.
Candidates will be required to present proof of responsible alcohol server training (TIPS) or must be able to pass a TIPS certification within 3 months of hire.
The physical requirements of this position include: standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, stooping, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the restaurant; including knowledge of state and local liquor regulations.
Greet guests and take their orders (food and beverage), utilizing up-selling techniques; answer outlet telephone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.
Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using proper measuring systems; preparing fresh garnishes for drinks and restocking the bar with ice, supplies and alcohol.
Accurately enter food & beverage orders into a point-of-sale system.
Process all payment methods.
Count the bank at the end of the shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
Ability to work with others and be a team player.
