The Bartender role involves welcoming guests, creating an inviting atmosphere, professional communication, collaborating with team members, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, ensuring responsible alcohol service, anticipating guest needs, maintaining a clean and stocked bar area, and upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome each guest at the bar and create an inviting, energetic environment
  • Communicate with guests in a warm, professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and well cared for
  • Work collaboratively with all Smith team members to support a seamless guest experience
  • Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for both bar and dining room guests, following standard recipes
  • Maintain a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance at all times
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, proactive service throughout their experience
  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
  • Uphold all food safety, handling, and sanitation standards to ensure the safety of guests and team members
