The Flo Lobby Lounge serves as the resort’s signature gathering space, blending elegant design with handcrafted cocktails, curated wines, and refined small plates in a sophisticated social atmosphere. Job Summary: The Bartender – Flo Lobby Lounge (On-Call) is responsible for crafting and serving beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency while delivering warm, attentive service that embodies the spirit of luxury hospitality. This role ensures the bar operates efficiently, maintains cleanliness and organization, and contributes to a memorable guest experience. As an on-call team member, the Bartender provides support during high-volume periods, special events, and peak occupancy, working collaboratively with servers, barbacks, and lounge management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of bartending experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant/lounge environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Must be of legal age to serve liquor in State of Utah
  • Strong attention to detail, product knowledge, and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to resort recipes and standards.
  • Engage guests in a polished, approachable, and conversational manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Provide menu knowledge and recommendations on cocktails, wine, and spirits based on guest preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment throughout service.
  • Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines, ensuring guest safety and compliance with Utah DABS regulations.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service, including restocking, inventory, and sanitation duties.
  • Handle all guest transactions accurately through the POS system; ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and management to deliver seamless service and timely beverage delivery.
  • Create signature cocktails or seasonal specials when requested, maintaining consistency in presentation and quality.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and promotional events as required.
  • Support the overall success of the outlet by maintaining a strong sense of teamwork, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Other duties as assigned
