About The Position

The Waterfront NYC at Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point is looking for bartenders who are capable of working in a fast paced and team friendly environment. Bartenders must be able to handle taking food & drink orders of any size at any given time. Proper food and drink serving etiquette is required. A working knowledge of beer and wine and fine spirits is required. TIPS certification is a must but will be provided if necessary. At The Waterfront NYC, we strive to give our customers outstanding service, going above and beyond the call of duty. We are looking for team players with strong work ethics. Open availability and a willingness to learn and work is a must. Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests. Make yourself available to guests’ questions and commentary so that you can learn from them every day.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Basic mathematical skills
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and speak English proficiently

Responsibilities

Provide high quality service to customers (and co-workers if Service or banquets)
Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
Greeting guests in a timely manner and taking orders
Process cash, COMP and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
Assist with inventory and inventory control
Other Duties as assigned
