About The Position

Less than a block from Union Square, our hotel is a short walk from San Francisco’s galleries, restaurants, and shops along Geary Street. We’re two miles from Fisherman’s Wharf and six miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. COMPENSATION: $20.00/hr PM, overnight and weekend shifts required. Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent
Minimum 1-year Bartender experience in a similar role, size of operation required, hotel experience preferred
Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
Food Handlers Certification required
Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs.
Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Nice To Haves

Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide our guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness
Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest
Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas
