About The Position

M Shack - a modern burger joint that serves delicious fresh-ground burgers, fries, hot dogs, hand-spun shakes, beer, wine, and cocktails is seeking an experienced Bartender/Server with the ability to work a schedule that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Requirements

• Previous bartender experience 1-3 years
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Basic food safety understanding and practice
• Hardworking with a positive and upbeat attitude
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced work environment

Nice To Haves

• Food Handler Certification a plus and will be required within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Be a brand ambassador, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience
• Engage with guests as they make food and beverage decisions
• Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests
• Coordinate food orders with kitchen staff for bar guests
• Build a rapport with regular guests to keep them coming back
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Verify identification and age requirements of guests
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system
• Take pride in keeping the bar area clean, sanitized, and stocked
• Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative environment
