About The Position
Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered and to dispense them in a prompt, friendly and professional manner to cocktail wait persons and guest at the bar.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Food Handlers Card and RBS Certification
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and written) in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Responsibilities
- Requisition all supplies as needed.
- Prepare garnishes as prescribed; limes, lemons, etc.
- Ensure adequate supply of clean glassware.
- Wipe down liquor bottles to maintain cleanliness.
- Ring up bar tabs for cocktail wait staff.
- Assure that all drinks are served are recorded promptly on NCR.
- Brew and maintain adequate supplies of fresh coffee and cappuccino.
- Take guest orders at bar.
- Settle all transactions on each round of drinks.
- Offer menus when requested.
- Assure that TABC labels are visible and intact.
- Demonstrate alcohol awareness – knowing when to stop serving a customer.
- Shall request identification when legal age is in question.
